Be Gone For Good
США
Добавлен 27 ноя 2016
Be Gone For Good is a channel built around a mindset. It is a mindset of gratitude and happiness. We recognize how lucky we are to get to do something we love and we want to empower our followers towards similar joys. We also want to remind everyone, including ourselves, just how important it is to "do good" while you are traveling. We often have the opportunity to enrich lives while we travel if we just lift up our heads for a moment and scan the horizon.
We will always believe, if you have to be gone, please Be Gone For Good.

The New BMW 1300GS Isn't An Adventure Bike

Klim Explosion: All The Gear You Could Ever Want
They gotta get the battery and screen situation sorted out, in my opinion. It's not going to matter much when it's broken or the battery is dead.
😂 the new GS is becoming BMW’s Good Wing…totally true. I think adventure riding and its associated bike class must have the capability to do anything from long range touring on slab, to off road trails short of enduro style riding. This includes a usable power range and a weight that can be easily picked up, loaded, by the average human, in average physical shape. To me that’s a middle weight (~450 lbs wet) advantage bike, with fully adjustable suspension, good wind coverage for touring, and cruise control. Those factors and the primary ingredients of what makes an adventure bike.
Cumberbun ????? It's a KIDNEY BELT. Anybody who rides for any real amount of time KNOWS that......your review lost all merit due to this, obviously your knowledge is less than appealing. Sorry bud👎👎
Can i use it for winter ?
Akira is sorely missing from this list.
Great review. I’m 6’6” and 240lbs. With RR kit, risers, drop pegs and tall seat the bike is more comfortable than an AT for me. It does struggle at 80 fully loaded for a camping trip tho.
How thick is the area in the heel and soles off the boot
Are these any good for short riders to flat foot the bike
Buy a tripod. Thanks.
This must be the DCT model no clutch slippage wheelie
They charge with a portable generator on a van
Can you go buy a 2024 and do another video please?
This has a lot of talk but didn’t teach one thing. Can I get a rebate for my time?
Absolutely. Our claims department is ready to assist you anytime. Although, we took into account your desire to waste everyone else’s time by leaving a comment we all had to read, so it turns out your balance is actually negative. We would appreciate a check whenever you can deliver. Thank you very much for your inquiry.
Sometimes motorcycle enthusiasts and admirers can get too much fandom and stardom in their perceptive eyeballs to understand that folks like Ryan F9 are firstly influencers and secondly entertainers. This does NOT mean they are primarily INFORMERS of FACTS. That task (in any avenue of life) is up to the individual to determine for themselves where they get information and whether or not to trust that information, and no amount of fandom and enthusiasm for any particular individual should be allowed to cloud one's judgment of facts, truth, reality. That said, there are a lot of problems with Ryan's videos often, no matter how slick and trendy the production value, and this one in particular was very flawed. And fans get triggered. Why? criticism of Ryan's influencer-entertainment-based productions is attacked because his productions are often perceived as factual, truthful, well researched, authoritative and thereby you could only have one motive for intersecting the videos he produced: a personal problem with Ryan. That of course is ridiculous and unfounded, but is often the reaction people give. Here's a video form Bennett's Bikesocial UK based challenging Ryan's conclusions and decisions, going to his cited sources: /watch?v=NOJxubCS0wM
Got my 1st dct last year, crf1100L. I do 99% road, the odd byroad! I'm no offroader! I can't see myself getting a manual bike again! Love it😂
Leatt makes those motocross boots with a waterproof liner 😂 also the Alpinestars Tech7 has drystar enduro model with more colors than black and they are the most comfortable motocross boot made.
If money isn't an object then the Expedition is by far the best most protective , waterproof boot available.
Nice, might have to order myself one of these
Man, honestly, to do a boot review with the camera on your torso? Please, consider having the camera on the PRODUCT while you are putting it on. We dont need to see your torso the entire time. Would love to have seen you putting on the boot, indicating pain points, etc. this was unwatchable for anyone who wanted to experience the product with you.
I bought ZumoXT2 and it sucks. Buying 700i now
Xt2 is great for road use
A good review, thank you for recording.
Hi, I wear the Held Sambia in size 10, they fit perfectly. In which size would you recommend the Aero Pro?
So I have longer fingers than most so I would always size up from whatever the measurement. Going from Held I would go up another size.
What's the wire thing you use to pull the valve stem through the rim? did you make that? or did you buy it ?
I did not make it but it is a great tool to have at the ready. It’s almost too inexpensive to not have for these jobs. amzn.to/3JRzSUo
The 4.5 Hydradri is a waterproof version - I can't see that the 5.5 is available in this version though. I've just upload a short video about the 4.5 version ruclips.net/video/MlbqRCFgex0/видео.html
Well done.
Does the bag scratch the paint on the tank?
There is a rubberized, almost neoprene, type fabric on the bottom and even though I slide the bag around often to get to the tank for every fill up, I’ve never had issue with scratches. Now I am sure there are micro abrasions as there would be with anything that is regularly and routinely in contact with the paint but I haven’t had any gashes or wear points from the bag after 6 years.
Thanks!!
Just purchased a 2022 ATAS. You mention that you're on the campus of UNC. I live a few hours east and am not confident with the dealership in my area. Do you have a dealership that you would recommend in the Raleigh/ Durham area?
Unfortunately, I do not have a dealership here that I would endorse. The closest thing I have that I really like, is a euro bike place about 3 hours west of me. Again, not helpful…sorry.
@BeGoneForGood thanks for getting back to me. I would also like to thank you for the great content you share on your channel. You have really helped me with building my confidence dealing with this bigger bike.
I’m so glad to hear that and thank you so much for leaving such positive feedback. We are working on a super basic course for adventure riding that should be coming soon, so keep your eyes out for that to improve your riding even further with a series of drills and exercises you can do anywhere you routinely ride.
Biggest error in this review title is going to absolute "Do NOT"... Especially if so many love their stuff... You probably would get more Subs if you did the pros and cons of the Tank Bags instead of so negative. My opinion a Tank Bag should be for small items (batteries, tools & other small items). I like the water carrying part of it the most and small items like batteries to connect to phones etc.
I appreciate the feedback. I did do a pro/con setup but broke it into two videos instead. Perhaps it would help if I told you that “subs” or views isn’t really a goal of mine one way or the other. It was initially when I started but I realized I could drive myself crazy chasing stuff like that. Now, I just make content that I think is useful and sometimes, as is the case here…break it up into manageable segments so I have time to shoot and edit. For this scenario I had the option to make two ten minute vids or one monster 20. I chose to break it apart for ease and to keep the idea focused. That is the long way to an answer for why I did what some would call a “negative” review.
Maybe title this one Cons of *item*. Then briefly say something like Pros of item are in link below details of this video 🤷🏻♂️ short simple and you pull it all together… To be honest I was researching Mosko Moto stuff and bumped into your video but your analogy of items seems lacking… sorry to be blunt about it. To each their own though and obviously you are getting views 👍
Just purchase ski boots and never ever ride motorcycle - safe your life. America is not for motorcycle riders, period!
I don’t know what any of this means. America is not for motorcycle riders? It seems the adventure segment would tend to disagree with you. As far as your sentiment about safety, replace a quality boot with a quality helmet and make your same statement. Is it ridiculous to do your best to keep your body protected, especially as you start covering more and more rugged terrain? I don’t happen to think so.
Thank you for this well-made video! I just wondered if you could compare the Montana 700 to the Garmin Nuno xt. Moreover, would be nice to see the mount/cradle you use for the Montana on your motorbike. Regarding the in reach function, I would always separate this from the GPS mounted on your bike, this life-saving device needs to be on you (in reach mini or iPhone 15).
Me: I'm getting a motorcycle. Her: okay We are getting married in June.
Now that is what I like to hear. My convo was similarly easy. I was prepared with all sorts of reasons…all she wanted was a signature on my life insurance policy.
I had a 2010 Anniversary with all bells and whistles yes it was good - stolen. What did I buy? XT660z had it 5 years now, no regrets. I chuckle at the idiots who ride these wallet-drainers. Ridiculous.
U do u. I do me. When it is cold i dress up for my early morning commute. Most people don't even ride year round. I do. Want to ride? Go ahead. Wear armor?sure why not? Dont want to wear helmet? No problem. Want to buy armor or not? All up to u. Does it help? It helps more than no armor. Is it worth the buck? Depends how much u got in ur bank account. It is all personal preference Backed up by years of riding and sliding.
I don’t think armor matters if you know how to ride. Armor is for people that want the thrill of riding but are too afraid to embrace the inherent risk of riding a motorcycle . If you don’t like the risk, drive a car or walk. If you drive beyond your skill level that is the choice you are making don’t ask armor to do the work you were too lazy to do yourself.
It’s common sense that body armor only protects from minor injuries, Anyone with half a brain understands it’s not going to protect you from getting hit by a train. Ryan’s video is nothing more than a weak attempt to stay relevant in the RUclips world by creating controversy. That being said with this generation needing a warning not too eat tide pods I guess common sense is a rare trait.
Exactly... Nailed it.
So you wait for Ryan to walk through the merits of safety armour. Then use his traction to pull your weight? This is not a productive discussion you are having. Why not do your own research on the issue instead of how you “feel” about it?
That’s a great question. Perhaps it is one YOU would have to answer for yourself. I am answering for ME. As we all do, this is a VERY personal question about what level of safety versus comfort we can tolerate. I have on multiple occasions brought up this subject on this channel and Ryan simply brought a new dimension to the community. I chose to comment on that discussion. Perhaps you would like to add something to the discussion as well.
Because thats what the internet was invented for, DUH!!!
You hit the nail on the head. The armour helps with many types of crashes. I would hate to slam my knee or elbow on the ground without the armour.
Won’t buy. Not worth the criminal $550 price tag! Not waterproof, not secure enough for the price tag, only has a limited lifetime warranty, which would be very subjective, for that price it would want to have a full lifetime warranty, including crash / slide & theft replacement & the product would want to last at least 6 years of every day use…. Mosko might be a decent brand, but not for the criminal price they charge for their products!
hi there, have you use heavy duty tube on you Africa?
I use HD tubes on the AT for every tire change. I don’t know that it helps as I am not doing major sharp rock crawling on struggling with punctures ever…but for an extra buck or two, why not?
@@BeGoneForGood thanks for sharing
Great vid. A subtitle with location or GPS coordinates would be nice (just in case I want to go there!)😎
Holy cow…that is a GREAT idea. I will have to remember that for the next time. As it stands, you let me know what you like and I’ll get you the best info I have.
What about summer time. To hot no? I guess you have to wear a mesh jacket or jersey for touring on road ect ?😊
No…not too hot at all. It is much cooler in the armor than any mesh jacket I’ve tried. I ride year round with just armor.
@@BeGoneForGood ok. I just worry if you go down the mesh won’t be enough to protect vs a hot Jacket. Off-road maybe the way to go as generally speeds are lower. Maybe give it a try thx.
wONDERING if you considered the Gaerne Fastback Enduro boot?
Is there a waist strap to stop it from flopping? The previous edition had a waist strap.
yes you are richt , good rieveuw grts from belgium
What gear do you put under the Alt Rider plates?
I’ve gone with the zumo xt and have my PLB attached to me in case I get separated from my bike.
same, but my reasoning is it the 700i gets smashed in a crash, I want the inreach to be operable. Sucks that Garmin won't let you share one inreach account between 2 devices even for use at different times
There's a few missing… what about 'The Word's Fastest Indian'?… 'Closer to the Edge'?… 'Fast Charlie: Moonbeam Rider' (David Carradine)?… 'On any Sunday'?… 'ElectraGlide in Blue'?… 'Mask' (The one starring Cher, not the one with that rubber faced grinning idiot, Jim Carrey. That's 'The Mask')?… 'Little Fauss and Big Halsy'?… 'No Limit' (a classic from the pre-WW2 period )?… 'The Leather Boys' (a real biking classic, set and filmed in the Rocker scene of sixties' UK using real rockers on their bikes, from the original Ace Café, as extras)?… 'If' (Worth it for the scene where they steal a BSA Lightning from the showroom)?… 'Girl on a Motorcycle'?… 'Silver Dream Racer'?… 'I Bought a Vampire Motorcycle'?… 'Scorpio Rising' (that one's maybe a bit 'niche')?… 'The Lost Boys'?… 'Freebird'?… and if you want sidecars, there's 'The Team' (starring Ben Murphy… also billed as 'Sidecar Racers' in some markets)?
I've had one of these for years. I'm not happy with it at all. I can go outside and send text messages, and there is no way to know if it actually sent. The people I test send to usually dont get the message. It's not very reliable. The software is crap. I downloaded gpx routes from adventure bike groups, and I cant get them to display the tracks or routes properly. I am going to just use an iphone for gps mapping. I'm tech savvy too. I've tried software on ipad, iphone, mac os, pc. It will sync sometimes. Sometimes it wont. If you want aerial maps, its a real pain and time consuming. All negatives so far unfortunately.
Want to sell it?
